I can’t wait for the diaries to return! Also, we seem to share some of the same feelings towards Substack/Youtube, it’s just so nice to have a platform to experiment on and dive deep in 🌿 Will be here August 31th!
Me neither! I have missed it so much to be honest, and it was a tough call to stop it, but then earlier this week I suddenly realised that I now have found the home for it! See you then :)
Grateful you can share and create and not have to please an algorithm. There is a lot of good gardening content out there, but you stand out as a gifted communicator and appear to have a work ethic of thoroughness and learning. It is a gift to those of us trying to grow our skills!
How exciting!! I'm really enjoying this more natural style of creativity from you Huw, it suits you nicely. Very exciting for what's to come (◍•ᴗ•◍)✧*。
Can’t wait. I’ll be there on the 31st, great idea with sow.today 😃 I have given me so much inspiration to try no dig and the use of mulch that I’m going to do from now. I suffer tremendously with bindweed and just have one massive veg patch and have always thought digging was best. So going to try making raised beds out of pallets. But any tips on tackling bindweed I’m open to hearing 😁
Ahh thank you Sandra! I am glad you like it! Ooh soundds good! Unfortunately I don't have much bindweed experience (but fortunately for me) but it is really a case of consistency of removal over many months to really bring it under control
This is all very exciting! I’ve followed your work a long time on YT. So pleased you’re over here now. :) Also I’ll give you a shoutout in this month’s edition of the Substack Nature News — our directory has a section for Natural Farming & Gardening, too, so I’ll list your new publication there, if that’s all right?

Thank you so much Carol! That is so kind and lovely of you to share.
Loved the diaries so I’m very happy about this. They were my favourite thing you did!
Ahh really pleased to hear that Katie, thank you!
As always a great and informative post. I'm very excited for the future projects you have lined up for us.
Thank you so much Joseph! I am very excited too, lots to come! :)
Would love to hear more about no-smell comfrey liquid feed. Mine smells like 💀!
No problem at all! I will get that shared
That would be great thanks 😃
I was going to say the same thing 😃
Omg been following you on YouTube for so long, it's so cool seeing you on here! Looking forward to the diaries returning!

Thank you Ember, I think I have found my new home :)
Yay!! Happy for the diary's new home and your positive experience with the platform. We must reclaim some control from these algorithms ;]
I could not agree with you more!
Great post - excellent read! Looking forward to 31st!
Thanks Martin!
So enjoying these posts Huw, great you took the leap
Thank you, Mark, and for your inspiration!
So much good stuff here, Huw - a membership really is good value. And what an opportunity for someone who likes reading hort papers!
Thank you Jo! :)

Looking forward to it!
Glad to hear it! :)
